This was my project for my fashion design course in college. It is an old photoshoot from 2007, but I really like the concept. From the months of August to November, there is a photoshoot per week to capture the theme of Autumn in terms of outfit selection.

Outfit rundown:
Knitted headband
Checked long sleeved collared shirt worn under black long sleeved top
Checked mini shorts
Thigh-high stockings
Red pumps

Description:
I wore a checked collared shirt under my black top to make it more interesting. If you feel that you have very little clothes but can't afford to get new ones, you can layer clothes instead to get a 'new top'. This coordination looks very different from wearing the plain black top on its own or the collared shirt on its own.

Checkered shorts that match the exposed sleeves and collar creates a more thematic look.

Wear thigh high stockings with mini shorts so that the outfit doesn't look too indecent. Bright red shoes make the outfit more vibrant.

Hairbands are great for keeping long hair out of your eyes and a simple way to create alternate hairstyles.
