All about Me - ID and FAQ

The lovely template of this ID is from la Pure' fashion catalogue. La Pure is a clothing brand that I did a photoshoot for. There will be photos later~

My previous ID is not very informative, so I thought I'd do another~!

People are curious by nature so if you want to know more about me, I don't mind giving more information~

My name is Marisa. Ashleigh is my middle name given by my Grandmother. Schadinger is my family name.
I use the name Nina as my professional name because I'm a freelance model in Taiwan and Nina is a lot easier for Chinese to pronounce than Marisa or Ashleigh XD You can call me Marisa, Mari, Nina~ these are what my friends usually call me anyway.

I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. When I was 14, I went to Singapore and completed my secondary school education and pre-university education. Now I'm back in Taiwan, finishing university studies in Fashion. While I don't really draw or design clothes (because my art sucks), I want to look into careers along the lines of fashion coordinator or image consultant next time. My favorite styles are Japanese and Korean street fashion.

I'm also a freelance model. I usually model for Taiwanese in-house fashion brands like V.Jeni, Yoyogi, Choya, la Pure, Misia, Miss Fi etc... If you frequent Taiwan yahoo auctions for ladies' wear, you'll probably see my face quite often!

I love fashion, shopping and beauty obviously. I also like movies, manga, music, food and Japanese culture. A lot of people don't believe this, but I'm a bit of a closet perv XD I started reading yaoi and yuri manga when I was 14 XD~
so don't be surprised if you see ecchi girls in my favourites~ beautiful things should be admired, right? I can't draw to save my life, but I wish I could draw. So I'm going to stalk a lot of brilliant artists here ^^

and here are some other questions I've been asked repeatedly, so I'll answer them here~

Q. How much are you paid for a shoot / How much do you earn?
A. Sorry but I can't answer this. It's a commercial secret! Not enough for me to be rich, that's for sure~

Q. Can I watch you?
A. Of course! No need to ask. Thank you~

Q. Do you speak German?
A. Naw I don't I speak Chinese and English and a teeny little bit of Japanese.

Q. Do you have msn/yahoo/any messenger?
A. Yes but I don't use them often. Just send me a note if you want to talk ^^

People keep asking about using my photos for references. So I'll put my answers here:

Q. Can I draw you?
A. Sure, I love it when people draw me. If you are doing direct referencing from a photo, you need to leave a link back to the original photo. If you are just referencing a pose, no credit or permission needed. A pose is not copyrighted! ^^ If you are just referencing my face, no credit needed either, but do show me the final work!

A. Can I use your photos for photomanipulation work?
Q. You can use all the pictures that have no copyright watermarks. For those with copyright watermarks, the photographer obviously does not give permission for other usage of his works, so I can't give you an unwatermarked version. You will need to leave a link back to the original photo. As always, I'd love to see the finished work ^^

A. Can I draw you as my mascot/original character?
Q. Sorry but I have to say no to this. This is like asking me to endorse something. Official paperwork and model releases will be needed. You can draw me in your own chosen setting, design clothes, hairstyle etc, but no part of your artwork should state that I'm a mascot or your OC.

A. Can I use your pictures for graphics (signatures, avatars, banners etc)?
Q. That's ok if proper credit is given. You have to ask me for permission and you must show me the link to wherever you're posting the graphics. However, I do not allow my photo to be used for Online Role-playing purposes.
